NATIONAL SPRING MASTERS DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS  

At the recent Great Britain Diving Federation's Spring Masters Nationals, held in Edinburgh, Amersham Swimming Club divers Katie Bell, Jocelyn Poore, Jenni Cluskey and Bryan Ditchburn didn't leave empty handed.
Competing in the Novice Women's events, after her recent return to diving, Jocelyn Poore came 3rd in the 3m Springboard and 2nd in the 1m Springboard winning her first medals in a senior national event.
Bryan Ditchburn and Jenni Cluskey secured bronze medals in the Men's Platform and Women's Springboard Champships respectively, whilst Katie Bell swept aside all the other competitors to win both the Women's Springboard and Platform Championships.
Although competitor numbers were lower than at the same event last year, the standard was extremely high with very few points separating the medal winners in most of the events. Next outing will be the GBDF Summer Masters to be held in Manchester in June, which is being used by the majority of competitors as a warm up to the forthcoming FINA World Masters Championships taking place in San Francisco in August.
