BERKS AND SOUTH BUCKS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006 Sessions 8 - 10 March 25th 2006

Katherine Shaw(11) shone again at the last session of this years County competition winning the 200m 'fly in 2.58.88s a p.b., plus another win in the 50 back in 34.99s in a new County Age Group record. She was also a finalist in the 50 breast and 100 free. She finished the evening with a win in the last race the 100m IM.

Amersham S.C. 's Gareth Fowler was in good form breaking the 15/16 year club record for 50m back in 28.27s. Gareth was top 16 year old in this and the 100m back.

Daniel Barraclough (11) won a thrilling 50 free in 31.61 with team-mate Jim Thomson 3rd in 31.74s a whisker away! Daniel also took silver with p.b.'s in the 100m IM, 200m free plus a bronze in the 50m back.

Sarah Pickin (12) won the 50m breast in a p.b. 40.59s.

Dan Shinnie (15) broke the club record for 15/16 year olds to take bronze in the 400IM. He won silver for 2nd place in the Junior Championship 100m back, and bronze in the Junior Championship 50 back.

Olivia Bailey (12) won silvers in the 50 bk,100 free plus bronze in the 50 breaststroke. She also won a silver medal in both the 400 free and 100 IM.

Lauren Wye brought home a silver in the 200 fly in an excellent p.b. of 2.46.47s in the 12 yr group plus bronze in the 100 free.

Sophie Elphick (11) with a p.b. 40.39s 50 breaststroke took silver.

Alexandra Curson(13) with a p.b. 40.05 swam well for bronze in the 50 breaststroke. Elizabeth Hetherington (14) also got a bronze in the 50 breaststroke plus a finalist in 100 free.

Ross Thomson (14) swam a fast 27.69s 50 free for 4th and Millie Price(10) also came 4th in the 50 breaststroke.
