BERKS AND SOUTH BUCKS COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006 March 11th 2006

Amersham's swimmers came in amongst the medals again at Maidenhead on Saturday with every single swimmer gaining a personal best time and many recording South East District times as well.

Katherine Shaw (11) shone again with gold in the 100m fly, bronze in the 200 back and 4th in the 200m IM.
Olivia Bailey (12) gained silvers in the 200 IM, 100 breast, 200 back and was 4th in the 200 breast.
Sophie Elphick (11) came in for silver in both the 100 and 200 breast plus 5th in the 200 IM.
Elizabeth Hetherington (14) coming back from illness got a silver in the 100 breast.
Daniel Barraclough swam out of his skin in the 11 year 200 fly for silver and swam p.b. 100's in the Bagcats relays.
Sarah Pickin won a silver medal in the 12 year 200m breaststroke plus 4th in the 100m breaststroke.
Gareth Fowler swam into silver in the 50 fly and Daniel Shinnie also gained silver in the 15/16 200 fly.
Lauren Wye came to the evening session following a day of national cross country running to take bronze in the 100 fly.

Personal best swims came for Ross Thomson, George Holgate, Sarah Pickin (with 2 finalist placings), Georgina Tasker, Jim Thomson, Elizabeth Comer, Sarah Whittaker, Alexandra Curson, Anna Bateson, Sophie Leech, Alessandra Quincey, Millie Price and Ashleigh Race
