ASC Novice Gala October 2005

Amersham S.C. hosted one of their "Novice Galas" designed to introduce young children into competitive swimming. There were 6 Clubs competing. Amersham's team was a true one with their swimmers having their first taste of racing and it was an opportunity for the coaching staff to watch for potential. Though finishing 5th of 6 the team put in a spirited performance. Notable were:- Elliot Lewis,Holly Hills, Evangeline Cameron, Jasmine Saunders, Carrick Blore, Hannah Jarrold, Ashleigh Race, Francesca Cannon, Chris Green and Chris Collinson. Both Tilehurst S.C. and Henley S.C. fielded very strong teams and finished with 176 and 168 points. Witney were 3rd 124, Verulum 4th with 93, Amersham 5th 90 and Aylesbury 6th on 86 points.
