Thames Valley League Saturday 6th February

The team sheets for the rescheduled round 1 of the TVL are on the club notice board at the pool. Please look at the list and tick your name if you have not already done so. If unavailable please notify your coach immediately. The original Round 1 date was January 9, but due to severe snowfall, the league postponed the meets on that date. Round one was moved to the next date (6th February) and other rounds rescheduled. Round 2 of Thames Valley League is now scheduled for Saturday 6th March.

A Team Bracknell
The ASC coach will leave the Amersham Library car park at 4.45pm. All swimmers are expected to travel on the coach, but if you are not planning to travel by coach please make a note on the relevant team sheet by Wednesday 3rd. Parents are welcome to travel on the coach too. Warm-up is at 6.15pm, races start at 6.45pm.

B Team Maidenhead
Swimmers are expected to travel independently to Maidenhead. There is a multi-storey car park opposite the Magnet Centre. Arrive by 6.15pm, Warm-up at 6.30pm, races start at 7pm.

SOUTH EAST REGIONAL MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Guy Emerson (ASC master swimmer and Tadpoles coach) represented ASC at the South East Regional Masters Championships (Long Course) at K2, Crawley last weekend. In the 45-49 years age group Guy won Gold in the following events:
50m Backstroke, 100m Backstroke, 200m Backstroke. Well done!

NEW CLUB RECORDS
Many congratulations to Katherine Shaw for re-writing all of the ASC girls long course 15/16 year
old and Open backstroke club records at the recent Burns Open Meet in Sheffield.
The new record times are:
50m backstroke: 30.96, 100m backstroke: 1:05.58, 200m backstroke: 2:21.50
